Long March to Islamabad | Whats wrong with Imran Khan ??
Long March to Islamabad | Whats wrong with Imran Khan ??
Written by Hadeed Sher
This highlights at least one thing that its the DEFEAT that is biting the nerves of Imran Khan, after all its really gloomy for a father who promised his 2 sons that upon their next visit to Pakistan they will stay in PM house. Its also heartening to loose 4 more years waiting and hoping for being the PM of Pakistan, that too at the age of nearly 70. Seventy, off course is a very ugly figure to be called as a young leadership. His rise from ashes was planned and executed by the establishment which is very much visible from his latest meeting with Ex spy chief Mr. Pasha. The message is clear, as masses around the Pakistan wants this government to work and the only thing that might emerge from the successful protest on 14th August will be that Mr. Sharif will become the only man in our history to be elected four time PM.

Creating the Mirage | PTIs Education emergency in KPK
Creating the Mirage | PTIs Education emergency in KPK

Although its a known fact that for any goal to achieve, proper planning is required. targets are set, that are then achieved with adequate project engagement. Surprisingly, the talkative Khan failed to set them before imposing the education emergency in KPK. It was not in my wildest guess that the "brilliant" minds of PTI , like Asad Umar, Jahangir Tareen and Imran Khan will offer the people of KPK such earthy policy framework. They forget to tell us the intended goals of this emergency. The result is obvious, after a year long education emergency PTI failed to announce the targets achieved, rather they are more into spreading another gimmickry of new plans of building schools. Mr. Imran Khan the year is over and the next year will bring yet another scheme because you are so vague in your thoughts that you start ranting about the alleged rigging even if you are invited in a primary school on a special occasion. It will be our pleasure if you can elucidate us about the following points so that other provinces can espouse it too in their provinces.
- There were 37988 schools (Government, Private and religious) in 2012. How many new schools have been built in KPK ?
- During the government of ANP the literacy rate was increased from 50-53 % (Male 69 to 72% and females 31-35%). What was the target for literacy in the education emergency and how much is achieved ?
- What is the progressive literacy rate during 2013-14. Please remember it was 5% during the ANP government.
- Out of 4219 government schools running in rented houses and tents how many schools have been shifted to proper government owned buildings ?
- What happened to 2677 madrassa schools ? How successful is the education emergency in converting them to regular schools ?
- More than 10 000 schools in KPK don't have electricity, over 4 000 don't have toilets, nearly 7500 lacks water supply and 5482 schools are without boundary walls. Mr, Imran Khan its easier said than done. Please tell us what has been achieved in this regard with education emergency imposed in KPK.
- What is the effect of Education Emergency on the enrollment of children?
- How far KPK government has succeed in ensuring the presence of teachers in schools ?
- How many new colleges are constituted?
- What about the science labs in higher secondary schools.
- What special has been brought in updating the IT labs of colleges , other than the copy cut paste idea of Laptop distribution ?
- How much decrease in the last year drop out rate of 25 %.
- How much improvement in teacher to student ratio after education emergency.(1:33 during ANP govt.)

I know that most of the readers will ignore this as an attempt to degrade the enthusiasm of country's revolutionary kittens, but the fact can't be ignored. I was told that Imran Khan has power to do something but he seems very impotent in delivering to educational sector of KPK. The provincial Minister of Education Muhammad Atif (A tax evader) thinks that people cannot understand the do's and don'ts of planning. PTI lead government has no system of monitoring the targets. Imran Khan make equivocal claims on every other show, what in other words is haphazard play i.e. talkative on media and scrap on grounds. Offering lollipops of self recognition through foreign funded institutes like NAMAL. NAML is outclass because IK built it , but the fate of 3.7 million school going childern is still fragile , isn't IK the one heading day to day meetings as if he is a pseudo CM of KPK. Will the fate of over 2500 schools with only one teacher will remain the same unless named after Shokat Khanum or Imran Khan ? Should we consider it a foundering experience ?

All same then why targeting GEO ?
All same then why targeting GEO ?
by Hadeed Sher
India's inner peace was at the mercy of ISI
The point i want to make is that all media channels exhibit skulduggery according to their periphery , therefore they all are one and the same thing. They jeopardize the national security whenever security forces operate, Bolan Medical Complex operation for an instance. They are fatuous enough to pass dangerous columns and programs without any censorship on their shows and in their newspapers just for the sake of profit. Therefore, singling out GEO as an Indian agent and its scoffing by the rival media groups wont help unless we deal with the ground realities. Suspects of a victim has a right to point finger on anyone they like. The due process of investigation happens only to verify the victims claim. GEO did stupid programs, but wasn't it GEO that fought at the forefront in the Judicial movement ?
Lastly, the behavior of the demagogues in the latest situation was really disappointing. Senior leaders like Javed Hashmi and Shah Mehmood Qureshi failed in molding the sophomoric Khan to a politician. Imran Khan who was once with Mir Shakeel Ur Rehman participated in GEO TV live telethon PUKAR has clearly demonstrated his lousy mental capabilities to balance out situation among the two pillars of federation. The same Imran Khan never questioned the live telecast of vulgar language used by Musharraf against Mian Nawaz Sharif and even by himself whom he used for the past few years. This is because in any democratic party system ideologies does matter, whereas, PTI has no ideology. One cannot sustain a party based on rhetoric idiotic sentiments specially when most of the party leaders are known corrupts and belongs to the loot mafia of Pakistan. Imran Khan without any iota of doubt clearly took his side to the masterminds of the recent rise of PTI. His servitude was evident from the fact that his supporters obviously on his advice chant slogans against GEO TV, which is their right, but with the photo of sitting CoAS and ISI chief ? Isn't this a blatant effort of fomenting the armed forces for another coup? Khan's learning curve is painfully slow and may be he thinks that perhaps this is the only way he could ever land in the premier office. Rest of the puppets are MQM and TuQ, whom are not worth discussing.Thursday, May 1, 2014
PNA movement 1977 and GE'13 "rigging" | Thinking outside the bun
PNA movement 1977 & GE'13 "rigging" | Thinking outside the bun
Written by Engr. Hadeed Sher
Ever since the general elections 2013 there is an ongoing mantra of rigging by some fellow countrymen who are following the due course of Pakistani politics where one either loses or the elections are rigged. These people, equipped with the social media tools, are frenzied over the loss of their favorite candidate. However, since for most of them this has been there first ever democratic experience therefore they deny the existence of basic right of democracy. The holiest of the holy "Every citizen has equal status". Thus the person living in slums has a value of vote that is equal to the vote of a person living in President house. The election rigging has now turned into a carol where a single party is trying to sample the election in 1000 constituencies of Pakistan through 4 selected constituencies of their own choice. This party calls itself Pakistan ehreek Insaaf (PTI), formally known as Tehreek Insaaf Pakistan (TIP), TIP however, is a well known term among the bellboys and bellhops, which is perhaps the reason of conversion from TIP to PTI. Anyhow, what lies within the rigging carol is interesting and most of those who have a soft corner for TIP or PTI believe that a movement similar to the PNA movement 1977, is perhaps the only solution to teach PMLN a "lesson". I am assure that most of them know about the PNA movement as shallow as the lead singer of rigging CAROL knows by himself. The purpose of this blog post is to find out what exactly was Pakistan National Alliance (PNA) movement 1977 and what precisely TIP or PTI claims, but first have a recap of the GE2013.
It was long believed by the media analysts prior to the GE'13 that PTI will form the next government of KPK. However, contrary to the tall claims and reflection of what we call Hollow lentil makes more noise, Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf after the GE'13 emerged as a regional party with some around 3 dozen seats that too mostly from strongholds in Pakhtoon dominated areas only, thus lacking the basis of a national party. More than two third of Pakistan rejected the politics of abuse and mud slinging. In KPK where there is all fine and clear, because Khattak lead PTI is on the driving seat, there are several districts & divisions where they fail to grab a single seat. For example in KPK PTI fails to get the confidence of people of Charsadda, Mansehra, Buttgram, Kohistan DI Khan, Bannu, Laki Marwat, Bunair, Shangla, Chitral, Dir and Malakand. The drama of "Taank Na Janay Waziristan terha" "ٹانک نہ جانے وزیرستان ٹیڑھا " for gaining the sympathies of victims of US drone attacks was also badly flopped. PTI was not given a pity TIP from FATA people as a token of the modern fashion show in TANK. Imran Khan lead PTI failed to grab any seat from Kurram, Momand, Bajor, North Waziristan and Orakzai Agency. But since the government is there with Pervaiz Khattak as CM and 3/4 (60 out of 80) of the ruling collation members are enjoying perks as provincial ministers and parliamentary secretaries, every thing is as legitimate and clear as Imran Khan is in the eyes of Haroon Rashid. However, despite two mammoth gatherings in Lahore, PTI did manged to get a couple of Punjab Assembly and National assembly seats, and here comes the twist. Since, TIP has some huge public gatherings in Lahore therefore, it is a MUST thing to happen that at least 10 /13 seats of NA should fall in the lap of PTI. However, it did not happened and Imran Khan who once declared that he will contest the GE'13 against Mian Nawaz Sharif in NA-120, cowardly decided to stay out of Gawalmandi, thus leaving behind the female contestant Dr. Yasmeen to fight twice elected PM Nawaz Sharif. Similarly, his fellow party member who conducted the rigged party election of PTI, lost his seat against Khawaja Saad Rafiq in NA-125. Remember, it was Hamid Khan who was supposed to file a case against Khawaja Asif, and he FILED but in the lower court, which was rejected by the court stating that the court can not hear a case worth billion rupees. Anyhow, cutting the story short, as an evidence the one and only Dr. Shireen Mehrunnisa Mazari produced a video of rigging in NA-125 in front of whole media. That video however, was an act of lunacy. Hamid Mir showed that video in his program in which SINDH RANGERS were shown inside the poling booth. Nothing was clear, however the mother of all question is "WHAT EXACTLY SINDH RANGERS IS DOING IN NA-125 LAHORE ??" and the father of all question is "How shameful Dr.SHIREEN MAZARI might felt after this blatant lie of rigging in LAHORE?". Try finding the answers and i am shifting to the PNA story in the coming lines.- Pakistan National Alliance (PNA) was an alliance of several parties who participated in GE'77. They alleged ZAB lead PPP for rigging in GE and decided not to be a part of Oath taking ceremony, PTI however took oath after GE'13.
- PNA members decided to launch a country wide protest against the rigging and it was so intense that it brought PPP on the dialog table, PTI also did that near ONE potato Two Potato for a week or two.
- As a result of PNA movement the PPP government agreed that re-elections are possible on 40 constituencies (Ref:"Aur line Kat gae" by Kosar Niazi). PMLN however being the winning party has denied any involvement in alleged rigging.
- While PNA was agitating against the rigging the country was under the control of PPP, the chief election commissioner was an appointee of ZAB and so as the interim setup in all the four provinces. Neither happened in GE'13. In Punjab a wave of transfer orders actually shuffled the whole setup of Shahbaz Sharif.
- PNA movement in 1977 was on road because the opposition parties were clear about rigging and they decided not to be a part of democratic setup. In 2013, PTI however is enjoying full protocol in KPK, they have opposition leader in PA and their MNAs are getting full TA and DA for each session.
- In 1977, PNA movement decided to boycott election polling in the daylight without the presence of strong media. In 2013 PTI took part in polling process till the end of the day and waited another 3 hours to compile the results, and then RIGGING word was first introduced to the nation.
My advice, history resists any alteration of facts. Try not to seduce the youth with such events that never existed in the pages of history. Try to focus on the province where you have the majority. The movement of PNA in 1977 was a significant parade of valor, where the people sacrificed for our today. That movement saw historical democratic struggle in Pakistan, neither on bullish Twitter nor on misleading Facebook. PNA was on ground not for hours, but for days and months, while in 2013 PTI in on twitter or near a burger shop. Lets decide to think outside the BUN.

My Advice To Imran Khan PTI
My Advice To Imran Khan PTI
Written by : Dr. Faisal Ranjha
Let me be very candid and fair, Imran Khan PTI contempt notice was un-called for, completely unexpected and unwarranted, in fact it shocked many. Yes Imran Khan is very vocal against rigging in GE2013, the role of ECP and Courts. But to be fair to courts, ECP is an independent institution after 18 amendment, very powerful one as well, the Imran criticizing Supreme Court just doesn't sound right and just as well. His criticism of ECP may have reasons, justifications that are understandable but what the Supreme Court had to do with it is not understandable. Now let us not indulge into who is right and who is not, let's just focus on why i do feel Imran Should tender an unconditional apology to the court and make himself a True Democratic leader, true voice of his followers. As "Abraham Lincoln" once said... "In Great Contests Each Party Claims To Act In Accordance With The Will Of The God, Both May Be, and one must be wrong".Now let me explain why Imran Khan needs to tender an unconditional apology that would lead to a rise in his stature.
1) Imran Khan by tendering an apology can immediately take a psychological edge over its main rival PMLN, as their history regarding contempt notices is not very beaming and not worthy. As we all remember PMLN stormed the Justice Sajjad Ali Shah courts after their leader Nawaz Sharif ( Then PM ) was served with contempt notice, yes Sajjad Ali Shah was very controversial, was working at the behest of the then President Farooq Ahmad Leghari to throw out a Democratically Elected Government but history remembered the images of PMLN workers and Leaders storming in the Supreme Court building. PMLN leaders still taunted by their rivals of that unwanted decision made in haste, literally a black spot on the glaring political struggle of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
2) Imran Khan's stance doesn't sound convincing when he talks that the Supreme Court must intervene, take a sou moto if I am getting it right regarding his claims of rigging. Imran Khan must realize that after 18 amendments ECP is a very powerful institution they showed their muscle during the GE, when many decisions made by care takers were reversed by them, so it would have made two institutions SC and ECP at loggerheads with each other because Fakhr ud Din G Ibrahim always maintained that GE 2013 were one of the fairest in the history of Pakistan, his claims got an endorsement from Local and International observers as well. Secondly Imran Khan not even once Questioned ECP before the GE 2013, their placing of officers ( RO ) in different constituencies, similarly neither presiding officers were questioned till the results started coming on 11 May, even then Asad Umar appeared on the National Television , congratulated PMLN's victory. Finally Imran Khan himself confessed publicly and apologizing publicly regarding awarding of tickets in GE and Intra-Party polls.
3) Imran Khan seemingly endorsing PPP point of view regarding rigging in GE and Superior courts favouring the one party, the same PPP which got thrashing of a life time during the Polls, remiained at loggers head with SC regarding their Hundreds of billions rupees of loot and plunder, the same PPP which got reduced to from a Federal party to a Provincial party due to their poor governance, their Two former Prime Ministers facing jail in coming days, hundreds of billions of corruption cases pending in Supreme court, Nab and FIA, their President fearing of opening of Swiss cases once Presidential immunity is stripped off, their leaders openly mailgning the superior courts due to their hidden agenda. Imran Khan toeing their policies is simply mind boggling and wouldn't send the right signals to his voters and supporters.
4) Imran Khan PTI gets second highest votes in General Elections close to 7.5 million, becoming the second largest party in Pakistan, wiping PPP off from Punjab and KPK, forming a Government in KPK, winning a sizeable number of NA seats, getting their opposition leader placed in Punjab, Imran Khan gets huge applause in the Print and Electronic Media, dominating the Social Media. There is no doubt in my mind Imran Khan PTI is a government in waiting unless PMLN performs exceptionally and PTI performs badly in KPK because Imran Khan got a golden opportunity to make institutions and his agenda implemented in KPK, he must remember his performance now must be compared with other Provinces, glaring mistakes like D I Khan jail break will come to haunt him in coming Polls in 2018. With his performance he can give PMLN run for their money in coming GE or his party PTI may face the same fate as PPP.
5) Imran Khan's recent decision of contesting Presidential Polls despite being pursued by many to boycott the Polls won his laurels and high moral ground in Democratic circles, elevated him to the status of the main Opposition Party because PPP committed a blunder boycotting the Polls handing over the initiative to Imran Khan PTI which he grabbed with both hands. Imran Khan PTI can achieve towering and prominent stature by appearing in court, humbly submit his unconditional apology and take a much honorable route of constitutional and legal struggle against his claims of rigging in GE 2013. He should knock every door, take a difficult but logical course of his political struggle, believe me Imran Khan immediately will lift his stature as a leader, he will immediately get that moral superiority to his rivals because there are already many conspiracy theories and stories circulating in the market that this clash might derail Democracy once again, this will only result Imran Khan is being the net loser, PPP and PMLN winner, will revive PPP's dying politics.
Hope common sense will prevail at both ends, Imran Khan learn from history and courts as well learn from their past which unfortunately is not the one to talk about. Let me end this read with "Abraham Lincoln" Quote "I Do Not Think Much Of A Man Who Is Not Wiser Today Than He Was Yesterday".
